All eyes are on Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin. Not only are they shaking things up in the love team arena with their fresh tandem, but they are also expected to take on intense acting sparring with big stars in the Kapamilya series Dirty Linen.

Though the teleserye has just premiered and we haven’t seen much of FranSeth at this point, one thing is for sure – they are going to impress in their upcoming scenes. Their past portrayals can serve as a guarantee. Check them out in this edition of Kapamilya Update.

Francine’s quintessential showbiz journey took off by playing younger versions of lead actresses. One of her earliest assignments was portraying the young Erich Gonzales in Be My Lady (2016). She was also chosen as the young Kim Chiu in Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin (2017).

She reunited with Erich in The Blood Sisters (2018), this time, as a supporting character named Ginny. She also had a special appearance as the young Angel Locsin in The General’s Daughter (2019).

Through these projects, Francine sharpened the acting chops that she used to fuel her breakthrough performance as Cassandra Mondragon or Cassie in Kadenang Ginto (2018), the show that marked her meteoric rise to popularity alongside her co-stars Seth, Kyle Echarri, and Andrea Brillantes. Together, they would make up the phenomenal The Gold Squad.

The quartet assembled in the inspirational drama series Huwag Kang Mangamba (2021). Francine played the teenage rebel Joy, earning praise for her quality acting.

From heavy drama, she proved her versatility by topbilling the romantic-comedy series “Bola-Bola (2022)” where she transformed into an overweight high school student named Thea and was joined by three leading men.

Meanwhile, Seth found himself in the limelight after joining Pinoy Big Brother as a teen housemate in 2018. With his looks and strong character, it was not difficult to prophesy a bright acting career for him. After he returned to the outside world, Seth immediately starred in Kadenang Ginto as Mikoy. Later on, he would be part of the Gold Squad and top bill Huwag Kang Mangamba with his friends.

In 2020, guest-starred individually in the phenomenal action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He portrayed Makoy, the young ranch worker who met Cardo (Coco Martin) and the Task Force Agila.

Not only can he act, Seth is also a singer and dancer. He showcased his amazing talents in the musical series Lyric and Beat in 2022.

Though their last projects are both light and youthful, a stark contrast to Dirty Linen’s dark theme of crime and revenge, Francine and Seth are willing to try any role. Besides, they have already shown that versatility and talent are two things they have in spades.
