In the hunt for truth and justice, the group of Alexa (Janine Gutierrez), Abe (Joel Torre), Lala (Jennica Garcia), and Max (Christian Bables), known to viewers as Team Resbak, was so hell-bent on destroying the Fiero family one by one.

As part of the game plan, Alexa and Abe, who disguised as a maid and driver, respectively, carefully studied who the weakest link of the Fieros might be. They first uncovered Ador (Epy Quizon)’s dirtiest secret that he’s running a porn business. During an event for the Fieros as the recipient of the Family of the Year Award, Max successfully sneaked into the technical booth and played Ador’s video scandal.

After many episodes, we were convinced that Feliz (Angel Aquino) is a blameless woman and that she’s only dragged into her family’s mess until a scene in a casino revealed that she’s also something else. The truth is she has a gambling addiction and it was the reason for her financial burden.

On the surface, we knew that Leona (Janice de Belen) isn’t an angel. She’s cunning and merciless, so much so that viewers still consider her the real culprit behind Olivia (Dolly De Leon)’s murder. In the middle of the story, Leona’s character was painted as suspicious and a possible cheater.

Just when we thought she is romantically involved with another man, we were thrown a curveball when Leona was revealed to be in a secret relationship with Atty. Olga (Andrea del Rosario). The brutal plot twist didn’t end there, as one episode disclosed that Leona has an independent illegal business outside of the Fiero family. She runs a clandestine fight club called Lioness Den, where Max intentionally participated to gather evidence.

As the thirst for revenge intensified, Lala made a way to blow up Carlos’ office. The Fiero family grieved over Carlos’ death. This kept the audience guessing until Carlos was finally revealed to have survived the explosion with the help of the equally evil police officer Chief Alejandro (Soliman Cruz).

Even Chief Alejandro, whom we thought is just a quiet accomplice of the Fieros, has been keeping a secret as well. There’s no way he could alter his past crime of violating Dona Cielo (Tessie Tomas). Viewers then discovered a jaw-dropping surprise: Chief Alejandro is the biological father of Feliz. She is not a Fiero, which explains her mother’s cold treatment and why she isn’t entitled to an inheritance from the Fiero patriarch.

Alexa’s family received a heartbreaking surprise when they discovered the skeletons that belong to Rolando’s wife, Lala’s grandmother, and Max’s father burned into ashes by the Fieros. All hell has broken loose since, with Max’s arrest and Lala dropping truth bombs to the public about the Fieros’ deadly sins from murder to sexual assault.

As each twist and turn in the narrative reveals shocking secrets and unexpected connections, Alexa confirmed that she and Chiara (Francine Diaz) are sisters. The scene where she related the truth to Chiara delivered a powerful punch, thanks to the two actresses’ undeniable brilliance.

Now with nothing to lose, Alexa boldly faced the public to reveal herself as Alexa Salvacion, challenging everything the people of El Hambra thought they knew about the powerful and seemingly spotless Fiero clan.
