With his captivating hazel brown eyes, handsome features, and ruggedly awesome style, it’s definitely effortless for fast-rising star Seth Fedelin to catch our attention – and even our hearts. But in the past four years that he’s been in showbiz, he’s able to prove that he is indeed more than just a pretty face because he is also talented!

In just a short time, he has immediately impressed us with his acting chops, which he’s able to develop and continuously hone through his television and movie stints. And beginning January 23, we’re going to see him take on another character in the upcoming crime drama series Dirty Linen! But prior to that, let’s revisit first his past acting gigs in this Kapamilya Spotlight feature.

Just like many of the stars that we admire, the 20-year-old actor’s ticket to the industry was by joining a reality program. In 2018, he was among the first batch of teen housemates of the Pinoy Big Brother Otso season and was given the moniker “Hope-pool Son of Cavite”.

He may have fallen short in his bid to become the Big Winner nor be one of the Big 4 of their batch, but a slew of opportunities was bestowed to Seth as soon as he stepped out of the outside world. From simply doing TV guestings, he went on to land his first-ever teleserye role in 2019 through the highly successful afternoon soap opera Kadenang Ginto, wherein he charmed us as the gumptious and cheerful lad named Mikoy.

It was also through that series where Seth and his co-stars Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri were launched as elite group called The Gold Squad. Their clique had amassed a huge following from the audiences, giving birth to the creation of their eponymous YouTube channel through which their video blogs were uploaded regularly.

Seeing his potential as a dramatic actor, he was eventually tapped to do the Maalaala Mo Kaya episode titled “Ilog” in early 2020, wherein he played one of the Plazo Brothers – four siblings from Camarines Sur who are suffering from the rare genetic condition called anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.

In the latter part of that year, when restrictions were lifted and productions were allowed again, the promising young actor joined the long-running primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as Macoy, the hardworking and dependable househelper in the mansion of Richard Gutierrez’s character Lito.

The year 2021 was seemingly a hectic one for Seth as he didn’t only appear in one, but three series. First off was the inspirational drama Huwag Kang Mangamba, which he top-billed as the jolly and caring Pio, alongside Kyle, Francine, and Andrea anew. It was succeeded by his starring roles in the “Trending” episode of the anthology streaming series “Click, Like, Share,” and in the iWantTFC original series “Saying Goodbye” opposite his on-and-off-screen partner then Andrea Brillantes.

Meanwhile, he’s able to showcase not only his talent in acting, but also in singing and dancing through his stint in the youth-oriented musical series “Lyric And Beat,” which was initially streamed on iWantTFC and was later on broadcast across ABS-CBN platforms.

And this 2023, he’s about to further display his dramatic flair in his portrayal of Nico Sinag in the forthcoming primetime series Dirty Linen. Show him your love and support by not missing an episode once it begins on January 23, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, iWantTFC, and TV5.
