Gab Valenciano opens up about 'darkest, most painful' time of his life

<p>MANILA - Gabriel Valenciano inspired his social media followers when he revealed Wednesday how he overcame “the darkest and most painful&quot; time of his life which happened early last year.</p><p>Without giving too much details, Valenciano shared on Facebook that he hit rock bottom early in 2018 when he “kept in so much that one day, I imploded and tried to hurt myself to numb myself of the pain, disappointment, uncertainty, doubt and fear.”</p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/gabvalenciano/photos/a.573049462772751/1972754402802243/?type=3&amp;theater" data-width="auto"> </div><p>Despite that, he told his followers that no matter the circumstances, “there will always be hope and that you are not alone.”</p><p>“The light at the end of the tunnel will keep shining, you just need to keep walking towards it,” he said.</p><p>“God bless you all and I hope and pray that when you feel like giving up, don’t. Surround yourself with people who genuinely care for you. Life will forever be a continuous struggle, find people to struggle strong with.
