Garie Concepcion supports movie of dad Gabby with Sharon

MANILA – Garie Concepcion is throwing her full support behind her father, actor Gabby Concepcion, who is set to make a reunion movie with his former wife Sharon Cuneta.

Garie is Gabby’s daughter with businesswoman Grace Ibuna.

“All-out support po ako kay Papa. Tita Sharon and I have finally met and it was such a good feeling for me. Anything naman po that they want to do, support ako diyan,” Garie told ABS-CBN News.

Garie said she met Cuneta when she guested on the morning show "Magandang Buhay."

“Nag-guest po ako with my sisters, si Cloie and si ate KC. Right after our guesting, it was Tita Sharon already. Nagkasalubong lang po kami sa may dressing room. She was very warm, she was very sweet,” she said.

Although they got along well, Garie recalled feeling nervous when she met Cuneta at the time.

“Siyempre first time 'yun. I’ve never met her before. Pero it was a very good feeling po. Nung una nga, sinabi niya ‘my girls’ kasi magkakasama si Cloie, ako and si ate. We haven’t sat down yet to talk pero very sweet naman po si Tita Sharon nung nag-meet kami,” she shared.

Following that first meeting, Garie also joined KC to watch Cuneta’s comeback concert last year.
