MANILA -- Remember when feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama broke down as she talked about the health problems of her only daughter, Ruffa Gutierrez, last year?

Rama surprised reporters when she suddenly cried as she expressed concern about her daughter, who was rushed to hospital last week for a still-unknown medical condition.

Months later, Gutierrez finally opened up about what really happened to her.

In a report on website Pep, the actress said that after spending a lot of money consulting doctors about her problem, she decided to see an espiritista, who told her that spirits were following her.

"There [were] three of them following me around! Totoo pala 'yun. Meron palang gano’n. And finally nahanap nila, and they shooed the spirits away," Gutierrez said.

"Diyos ko day, ang dami nang ayaw magpa-feng shui ako at magpa-ispiritista, 'yung lang pala ang cure. May mga sumusunud-sunod sa akin na mga ispiritu day, nakakaloka," she saod.

After driving the unwanted spirits away, the actress reported that she's back to being "super fine and healthy."
