Elise&#x27;s family</strong></div><p>The fourth installment revolves around Elise&#x27;s &quot;very difficult&quot; childhood so viewers will get a glimpse of her family and the childhood home she lived in before meeting the Spectral Sightings duo, Specs and Tucker.</p><p>But since the movie cannot operate fully on flashbacks, Elise&#x27;s other relatives will also get some crucial screen time.</p><p>&quot;The things that Elise experienced, this is the first time you as an audience will hear what they are,&quot; Lin Shaye, who plays Elise, told ABS-CBN News.</p><div><strong>2. New clairvoyant</strong></div><p>Elise is not the only person in the movie gifted with the ability to travel into The Further. </p><p>&quot;There are now other characters that could be explored, other characters with ability,&quot; Shaye said.</p><p>Previous Insidious films had other characters traveling between the real world and the paranormal realm, but the new psychic on the block needs less saving than the others.</p><div><strong>3. Tear-jerkers</strong></div><p>Emotional people be warned! You might have to bring a hanky or a pack of tissue because this Insidious installment may be more emotional than its predecessors.</p><p>&quot;The hardest part for me was the emotion. It was a really emotional story. Going back to the sad past of Elise touched some nerves in myself,&quot; Shaye said.</p><p>&quot;This particular episode of the franchise has a fantastic story to it.<br/>There&#x27;s the jump scares - which everybody loves and comes to see the film for. But there&#x27;s kind of a mystery here, a mystery that evolves and that has an emotional attachment to it. So it&#x27;s a little bit more complex and I think people will appreciate the film on a lot of different levels,&quot; she said.</p><div><strong>4. Romance and kissing scenes</strong></div><p>A romantic connection between a long-time cast and a new character buds in &quot;Insidious: The Last Key,&quot; a genre that seemed to be not included in the first three films.</p><p>The love link between the couple is gradually built up throughout the movie without sacrificing the film&#x27;s main thrust of solving a spine-chilling paranormal mystery.</p><p>Could Elise meet an old flame? Could Tucker have an ex-wife? Or could Specs hit on a lady ghost?</p><p>You&#x27;ll just have to catch it in theaters to find out.</p><p>&quot;Insidious: The Last Key&quot; opens in Philippine theaters on Wednesday.<br/> </p>
