He just keeps breaking his own records.

On Thursday, Vice Ganda's "Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad" pushed its nationwide box-office total to P571 million, topping the local record of the comedian's "The Super Parental Guardians."

The superhero comedy flick, which premiered on Christmas Day as part of the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival, now holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing local film domestically.

Producer Star Cinema announced the feat during a victory party attended by Vice Ganda and co-stars Pia Wurtzbach, Karla Estrada and Wacky Kiray, and director Joyce Bernal.

"Nakikita ng Diyos kung gaano kaganda ang intensiyon natin kaya niya tayo na-bless," Vice Ganda said. "At hindi din tayo na-bless lang, dahil pinagtrabahuhan natin 'to."

The figure makes "Gandarrapiddo," which also stars Daniel Padilla, the second most successful Filipino film in history, behind only the P598 million worldwide gross of "The Super Parental Guardians," which also starred Vice Ganda.

Star Cinema has yet to release "Gandarrapiddo" in cinemas abroad.

"Gandarrapiddo" has passed, however, the worldwide totals of "A Second Chance" (P556 million) and "Beauty and the Bestie" (P529 million).

It has also been noted that Vice Ganda now topbills three of the top four most successful local box-office movies, with the exception being John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's aforementioned follow-up to their cult hit, "One More Chance."

The next two biggest local films also stars the "It's Showtime" host, namely "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" and "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy."
