‘PBB Otso’: Apey’s tearful reunion with half-brother Mark

On her birth certificate, it says that her father was 44 when she was born. She&#x27;s 23 now. </p><p>Happily, however, that fear of hers was put to rest in this Friday&#x27;s episode of &quot;Pinoy Big Brother: Otso&quot; after meeting her half-brother who confirmed to her their dad is alive and well. </p><p>The tearful reunion happened after Apey passed the challenge of making strangers laugh. In doing so, she unlocked a room where her brother, Mark Obera, was waiting for her. </p><p>To make their meeting more emotional, the room was designed by the reality show to look like Apey&#x27;s room where she lives alone after running away from her mother. </p><p>Mark said that seeing how his sister lived made him feel guilty. He said that he and his family should&#x27;ve put more effort into finding her. </p><p>He told Apey that her mother disappeared with her back when they were still kids without leaving any notes behind as to why. </p><p>Apey responded by saying that she doesn&#x27;t harbor any anger towards her father, and just wanted to know if he&#x27;s still alive so that she could tell him that she has a pretty daughter. </p><p>Mark was apologetic throughout their short conversation and made Apey know that he loves her. </p><p>Apey is among the housemates of the adult part of this season&#x27;s &quot;PBB,&quot; while Mark is a &quot;Star Dreamer,&quot; another batch of hopefuls looking to officially become part of the reality show.</p>
