On Monday, it bagged three nominations at the 15th International Cinephile Society.The movie starring screen veteran and ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos and John Lloyd Cruz is up for best adapted screenplay and best film not in the English language.Cruz was also nominated for best supporting actor.“Ang Babaeng Humayo” tells the story of Horacia (Santos), a school teacher who spent 30 years in a correctional facility for a crime she did not commit. It is Santos&#x27; first film foray in nearly two decades.According to its official <a href="https://icsfilm.org/">site</a>, the International Cinephile Society is an online group made up of approximately 100 accredited journalists, film scholars, historians and other industry professionals who cover film festivals and events on five continents.It honors “the finest in American and international cinema.”Winners of the 15th the International Cinephile Society Awards will be revealed on February 4.
