Nadine Lustre said she was moved by a song that was performed on 'Your Moment' this Saturday

MANILA—Her shock breakup with James Reid hogged showbiz headlines this past week, with both of them acknowledging that they had decided to split to focus more on themselves.

So it really shouldn't come as a surprise that Nadine Lustre was moved by a semifinals performance on "Your Moment," from a pair of former lovers who had also chosen to part ways.

In Saturday's episode, which marked the beginning of the show's semis, Lustre was seen holding back her tears as she listened to Keren Lazaro and Mark Takeuchi's cover of Labrinth's "Jealous."

Asked for her comment, Lustre told the two: "May magic talaga kayong dalawa."

She noted the song choice, saying: "Iniiyakan ko rin kasi iyang song na iyan dati, iyong meaning niya talaga ay sobrang sakit."

Lustre did clarify that she didn't nearly choke up because of a person, explaining that she's just really the "emotional" type.

It was just last Monday when Lustre and Reid announced their breakup in a joint statement.

The pair of Lazaro and Takeuchi was one of the semifinalists who took the stage on Saturday. They represented the singing category, alongside groups Verse Band and Glitters.

Those from the dance category who performed were Angel Fire, Ruthless Comrades, and Japanese dance group The Fabulous Sisters.

Four more acts — two from each category — will perform on Sunday. The top three singing acts, and the top three dancing acts will be moving on the finals.
