It’s so cool, very like fashion week. There’s just something about it that I just love,” she said.McKellar posted on social media two other Tolentino-made couture dresses that she chose from.“The red dress collection, you know what’s nice? It’s hosted by the American Heart Association. Being part of this event is an honor. This is my second year. The first year, I dressed up Lea Salonga. This year, Danica McKellar. She’s very, very nice. She went to the store. She fitted a lot of gowns,” said Tolentino. Popularly known as Winnie Cooper on “The Wonder Years,” now 44-year-old McKellar said the Go Red for Women fashion event is all about the human heart.“I was thrilled when they asked me to do this because it sounded like a lot of fun to walk down the runway but also to raise awareness about cardiovascular health. I did not know that cardiovascular health is the number one killer of women above and beyond all forms of cancer combined,” said McKellar.This year’s red dress collection featured big name celebrities including 1980s popular sex symbol Bo Derek and Best in Show winner Flynn the Dog.“People live longer and healthier with dogs. They are good for our hearts,” said Derek.WWE professional wrestling tag team, the Bella twins, rocked the runway. Star of the CW’s “Riverdale” Ashleigh Murray also graced the runway.Veteran actress Susan Lucci may have even taught a thing or two about surviving cancer while walking the runway – that it’s not about falling down, but it’s about getting right back up.
