MANILA -- With Valentine's Day coming up, heartthrob Tony Labrusca stressed that he is still single.

"Recently, a lot of people keep wondering if I'm dating or if I'm single and I just wanted to come from me na guys I'm still single. So please," Labrusca said in an interview with ABS-CBN News after he inked a new contract with the Kapamilya network.

"Because most of the time I just let people talk, let people assume whatever they want. Parang this Valentine's Day I just wanted to clarify na single pa rin ako," he said.

Asked if there's someone claiming that they're in a relationship, the actor replied: "Marami. So I wanted it to come from me na I'm single."

Right now, Labrusca believes that it's better for him to focus on his career.

"After signing today, I think work is better. Okay lang na single ka for a while," said Labrusca who is set to do a film and a series.
