‘Soulmate Project’: Script hints at how James and Nancy will meet in series

Your search for your Soulmate is finally over. You, Jayson Miguel J. Dimapilas, of legal age, of Tondo, Manila, have been carefully selected by the Philippine Government to be part of the Batch 3 of Republic Act No. 142, also known as The Soulmate Project.”</p><p>The letter goes on: “Please cooperate with the Soulmate Officials in peace. As long as you abide by the law, you will not be in trouble. In a few hours, you will be acquainted with your Soulmate. Hindi ka na iiyak nang dahil sa pag-ibig. rejoices at the news. Hindi na ako iiyak dahil sa pag-ibig!”</p><p>Reid’s leading lady, K-pop star Nancy McDonie, previously said that her character, Binna, is a Korean-American who lives in the Philippines. She also revealed that “The Soulmate Project” will be partly set in her home country South Korea.</p><p>Reid and McDonie have recently begun work on the project, with look tests, workshops, and site format, will be more comparable to K-drama or Western TV series.</p><p>Unlike the traditional teleserye, it is set for a <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/11/05/19/why-james-and-nancys-soulmate-project-wont-be-your-typical-teleserye">13-episode run</a> and will be “canned.” That means the entire series will have been done filming by the time it premieres.</p><p>“Soulmate Project” was among the titles confirmed for a release this year, as seen in ABS-CBN’s “Sama-Sama Tayo sa 2020” trailer released in January.</p>
