LOOK: Lead stars of 'Burado' hold first-ever script reading

MANILA -- Since it has been announced, there has been no shortage of promotion for the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Burado.”

On Tuesday, production manager Carlina Dela Merced shared photos of the cast doing their first-ever script reading.

In the pictures are lead stars Nadine Lustre, Julia Montes, Paulo Avelino, Zanjoe Marudo and Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal.

Not shown is Thai actor Denkhun Ngamnet.

Details about story of “Burado” have yet to be released, but going by the first official images of the cast when they shot for the trailer last week, it seems like it will be an action-packed series.

While there is no official synopsis yet, their group shot hints that the five characters will be teaming up against a common threat.

As earlier announced, the cast also includes Carmi Martin, Angel Aquino, Joko Diaz, Ina Raymundo, Lotlot de Leon, Matet de Leon, Raymond Bagatsing, Mccoy de Leon, Javi Benitez, and Kokoy de Santos.

Directing “Burado” are Emmanuel Palo (“The General’s Daughter”) and Darnel Villaflor (“Kadenang Ginto”).

The series will span several international locations, including the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, and India, according to Endrinal. The series is slated for a primetime release, the ABS-CBN executive added.
