‘I promise to stay with you forever,’ Kathryn tells Daniel

MANILA — In the most intimate glimpse yet into their six-year relationship, superstars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla had cameras rolling during their recent getaway in Japan, where romantic moments unfolded with breathtaking backdrops.

Bernardo, 22, and Padilla, 23, chronicled their trips to Hokkaido and Hiroshima as the new tourism ambassadors of Japan from the Philippines.

The vlog, titled “Discover a Different World with KathNiel,” follows the sweethearts as they tour heritage sights and foodie havens.

While the two have been openly affectionate over the years, “Discover” gives fans a rare and up-close look at Bernardo and Padilla’s dynamics as a couple, as well as their fun-loving side.

In one part of their visit to Hiroshima, Bernardo handed Padilla with a gift attached with a letter that read: “This is going to be our best year together! Thank you for all the love you’ve given me. I promise to love and stay with you forever. I love you so much!”

Padilla similarly surprised Bernardo during their tour of Hokkaido. He gave her a glass imprinted with a personal dedication. “To more adventures with you, my love!” he told Bernardo.

Coincidentally, the release of “Discover” came as fresh intrigues beset the the couple’s relationship, prompting Padilla to clarify early this week that they were very much still together and to ask for stop to baseless rumors.
