<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/entertainment/03/02/20200302-dingdong.jpg"/><figcaption>Dingdong Dantes leads the cast of ‘A Hard Day’. <em>Viva Films</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA — Viva Films on Monday released the first trailer of “A Hard Day,” the Philippine adaptation of the 2014 action thriller from South Korea.</p><p>Dingdong Dantes and John Arcilla star in the remake directed by Law Fajardo.</p><p>“A Hard Day,” as in the original, follows a detective who accidentally kills a man in a road crash, complicating an already challenging day that involves the funeral of his mother and a tiff with a fellow cop.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uw9jkEYlr3s?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>“A Hard Day” is scheduled for a nationwide release on April 11, as one of the eight main entries in the first-ever Metro Manila Summer Film Festival.</p><p>“A Hard Day” is the latest Philippine adaptation of a South Korean film produced by Viva, following the success of “Miss Granny” and “Miracle in Cell No. 7”. </p>
