Vera is apparently showbiz-bound. She sings, dances and acts. She registers and projects well in front of the TV cameras. She is set to follow in the footsteps of her mom and also embark on a showbiz career.Already, Vera has done two films with her mom. She played cameos in Rechie Del Carmen’s “Feelennial,” and Dado Lumibao’s “Sons of Nanay Sabel.” Both comedies were shown last year.Now a junior, taking up Early Childhood Education at De La Salle University (DLSU), Vera is the only girl in the brood. Her eldest brother, Sancho, is a mainstay in “Ang Probinsiyano,” with Coco Martin. The youngest is Sean Nicolo, along with De las Alas’ adopted son, Seth Andrei.Vera finished high school in the US. The time she lived there also allowed her to bond with her dad, balladeer Miguel Vera. “Kaya Inglesera ‘yan,” the mom smilingly beamed. Vera enrolled at DLSU when she got to college.“Colorful ang love life ni Mama,” Vera remarked. “Si Mama, when she loves a person, grabe talaga, all out. There’s nothing bad to love a person. Her mom and her brothers approve of her relationship with the guy.Over the weekend, Vera tagged along with her mom, who graced the opening of Shinagawa Lasik and Aesthetics Center at the Bonifacio Golden City. Without any make-up, the very pretty Vera welcomed the questions readily thrown her way and very graciously answered the simple queries. She is turning 24 this April. A full-time showbiz career will happen after she graduates from college and she is excited about all the possibilities that await her. She expresses her desire to work with the KathNiel love team, as she loves Kathryn Bernardo and has watched most of their movies together. Even her Kuya Sanjo loves KathNiel. “I’ve watched their movies,” Vera said. “The roles that they’ve played were so diverse. Through the years, they have both became really good actors.”
