<p>MANILA -- There was no shortage of familiar songs during Maroon 5’s concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday.</p><p>Not their first time in the country, the Adam Levine-led American pop rock band brought its Red Pill Blues Tour to Manila.</p><p>They showcased a combination of their classic hits and their new songs that easily became fan favorites after they released their sixth studio album &quot;Red Pill Blues.&quot;</p><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/moaarena/videos/308018816735931/" data-width="auto"> </div><p>With blinding yet spectacular lights all over the stage, the show began past 9 p.m. with Levine performing “What Lovers Do” for the opening.</p><p>Levine was welcomed with deafening cheers from the audience, who instantly got up on their feet to dance and sing through the song.</p><p>The Maroon 5 frontman made sure he connected with everyone watching live by running back and forth at the stage, singing to audience at different sections.</p><p>As if the party mood wasn’t through the roof yet, the arena erupted when Levine sang “Payphone,” a familiar song to many.</p><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/moaarena/videos/265059287728467/" data-width="auto"> </div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/moaarena/videos/1976248076015683/" data-width="auto"> </div><p>More of Maroon 5 classics followed including “This Love,” “Misery,” “Sunday Morning,” “Animals,” “One More Night,” “Maps” and “Moves Like Jagger” to name a few.</p><p>The audience was also thrilled to see the band perform “Cold,” “Don’t Wanna Know,” and “Wait” which are all from their latest album.</p><p>At one point, Levine just let the audience sing their songs with him joining along in the background.</p><p>But some of the concert’s highlights happened during their encore performances where they played “Lost Stars,” “She Will Be Loved” and “Girls Like You.”</p><p>Giving everyone a rush, Maroon 5 ended the show with “Sugar.”</p><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/moaarena/videos/1159216270926545/" data-width="auto"> </div><p>Manila was part of the band’s trek around Asia, that also include stops in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore, and Thailand.</p>
