MANILA -- Two libel complaints filed against Vina Morales by her former partner, businessman Cedric, Lee have been dismissed.

Morales confirmed the news late Monday in an interview on the sidelines of a press conference for her newest album "Vina XXX" under Star Music.

"We've received good results already. Thankful kami ni Atty. Lucille Sering na nasa panig namin ang mga complaints and few of them are dismissed already.

"Thankful ako and God is good all the time. Basta wala kang masamang intention sa kapwa mo, God will always listen to you, and on your side. ... Walang korteng nangyari and it's just a complaint anyway and it's dismissed," she added.

On June 20, 2016, Lee, the father of Morales's daughter Ceana, filed five counts of libel against the singer-actress at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Lee's case against Morales stemmed from her claim that Lee forcibly detained their daughter and that he violated a court-approved visitation agreement.

In a report published on Pep, Lee vehemently denied Morales' accusation. He also denied that he bullies Morales and her family.

On June 23, 2016, Lee again lodged five counts of grave libel against the "Pangako Sa 'Yo" singer at the Caloocan City Prosecutor's Office.

Aside from Lee's complaint, his sister Bernice also filed a separate libel case against the singer-actress.

Raps vs Lee

In the interview, Morales reported that the kidnapping case she filed against Lee for allegedly detaining their daughter is still ongoing.

"Regarding that, I'd rather not talk about it muna. So let's see.
