He advised Jia to tell the truth to Dana. That way, Jia would be free of guilt from keeping the relationship secret, and so Dana would have clarity after David made his first steps toward the annulment of their marriage.</p><p>Jia explained to Dana that she and David developed feelings for each other while Dana was in a coma after a road crash. When Dana regained consciousness, the affair was kept secret from her by their family members, to avoid any risk of affecting her recovery.</p><p>The truth, as expected, came as a shock to Dana, who immediately lunged at her sister and threatened to kill her.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><div id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1_Container"> <ivs-player id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1" data-ivs-spid="3001339" data-ivs-key="e8c22c015ca9eafa76f1e3edfa03c603" data-ivs-vid="1378981" data-ivs-floating="1"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/iframe-parent.js"></script> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js"></script> </div></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>The family’s worst fear happened, as Dana collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.</p><p>Dana, however, was revealed to be feigning a worse condition than she actually had, as a means of keeping David on a leash and enacting revenge on her husband and her sister.</p><p>Their complicated ties are a case of history repeating itself, as Jia’s mother, Kai (Sunshine Cruz), was similarly the mistress of Adam, while Dana’s mother, Lucy (Eula Valdez), is his legal wife.</p><p>The all-out clash between the sisters comes a month into the airing of “Love Thy Woman,” which was billed as a family drama that explores Chinese-Filipino customs.</p>
