‘Stress is the new monster’: Students face fears in ‘All-Nighter’ first look

MANILA — In Black Sheep’s upcoming horror flick “All-Nighter”, students face a different kind of monster.

Lead stars Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin are terrorized by stress in the Gino M. Santos film, as seen in a stylish reel announcing that the project is now in production.

“Stress is the new monster,” the tagline of the movie goes.

“All-Nighter” follows students who go to an island to finish their thesis, according to Brillantes in an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” that aired Wednesday. The trip takes a mysterious turn when the students start experiencing nightmares, she said.

“All-Nighter” will mark the big-screen debut of the Brillantes, Diaz, Echarri, and Fedelin as “The Gold Squad,” a teen group launched via the hit afternoon drama “Kadenang Ginto”.

A release date has yet to be announced for the film.
