Ang tawag ko sa acting ni Lloydie, sincere. Nakita ko iyon kay Ge (Gerald),” she said in a press conference on Thursday.</p><p>Molina said Anderson’s performance was so powerful that she was moved to tears.</p><p>“After the take, ang dami-dami kong luha. Back shot ni Pia (Wurtzbach) iyon, front ni Gerald. Pagkaharap ni Pia, sabi niya, ‘Ako rin, direk.’ Tapos ang cameraman ko, ‘Ako rin direk.’ Lahat pala kami nag-iyakan kay Ge. He was wonderful in that scene,” she said.</p><p>When asked how it feels to be compared to Cruz, Anderson said it’s probably one of the best compliments he’s ever received.</p><p>“Siyempre noong bata pa lang ako, nagsa-start pa lang ako sa showbiz, iyon ang kainitan ng ‘Maging Sino Ka Man.’ Parang oh my goodness, tao ba iyan? As an actor, for my name to be in the same sentence with John Lloyd and coming from one of the closest directors niya, nakakataba ng puso,” he said.</p><p>As an actor, Anderson said Cruz is one of the people in the industry that he looks up to.</p><p>“He’s one of the actors that I aspire to be, to affect people the way he has affected people sa mga projects niya,” he said.</p><p>“My Perfect You” opened in cinemas on March 14. It earned P10 million on its opening day.</p><p>The film centers on Burn (Anderson), a broken-hearted man looking to start over, and Abi (Wurtzbach), a hostel owner whom he meets while on vacation.</p><p>While the teaser showed Burn exasperated by the ubiquitous and overbearing Abi, it also offers a glimpse of the two finally getting along and eventually falling in love.</p><p>Their chemistry, it appears, will be sprinkled with humor, thanks to the combination of Abi&#x27;s boisterous personality and Burn&#x27;s pensive, brooding mood.</p><p>&quot;My Perfect You&quot; is not only the first time Wurtzbach and Anderson are being paired onscreen, it&#x27;s also their first time working with Molina, regarded as a box-office-hit director known for her relatable takes on rom-coms.</p>
