Elisse Joson and Jerome Ponce have made no secret of their past relationship, which even became the subject of an episode during the former's stint in the 2016 edition of "Pinoy Big Brother."

The two reunited -- professionally -- via the hit primetime series "The Good Son," wherein Ponce plays Enzo, one of the main characters, and Joson portrays Sabina, the love interest of McCoy de Leon's character Obet.

The two, along with the rest of the cast of "The Good Son," faced members of the press over the weekend to promote the drama series' nearing finale, after nearly seven months on air.

Speaking with reporters, Joson was asked how her relationship with Ponce has changed since they started working together.

She answered: "Actually, okay naman po. Hindi naman din awkward. Okay naman, even offcam. Atsaka pag nag-to-throw lines naman po kami, I think nakakapag-deliver naman po nang maayos. Nakakatuwa naman po na parang wala namang negative na kahit ano."

If anything, Joson said, their being part of the same project helped them value professionalism.

"Pag nagtatrabaho naman po kami on set, 'yung personal namin, parang wala, nakahiwalay. I guess doon din po namin natutunan kung paano 'yun gawin as the show went on, kung paano ihiwalay 'yung ma personal na nangyayari," she explained.

Joson is rumored to have romantic ties with de Leon, her "love team" partner; while Ponce is reportedly in a relationship with volleyball star Mika Reyes.
