#PantawidNgPagibig tops Twitter trends as Kapamilya stars hold digital concert

<p>MANILA -- A hashtag referencing ABS-CBN&#x27;s newly-launched fund-raising campaign topped Twitter&#x27;s list of trending topics in the Philippines Sunday night as Kapamilya stars came together for a digital concert in support of the project.</p><p>The hashtag #PantawidNgPagibig ranked first on Twitter&#x27;s Philippines trends list as the Kapamilya network aired &quot;Pantawid ng Pag-ibig: At-Home Together.&quot;</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/entertainment/03/22/trend.png"/><figcaption><em>Screengrab from Twitter</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>The hashtag was an apparent reference to Pantawid ng Pag-ibig, an ABS-CBN initiative which aims to provide food and basic necessities for Filipinos whose livelihoods were affected by the Luzon-wide quarantine, which was implemented to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease.</p><p>ABS-CBN has already pledged P100 million to kickstart the fundraiser. </p><p>Sunday night&#x27;s program featured performances from Kapamilya stars -- such as Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, and Ogie Alcasid, among others -- which were recorded from their homes.
