'Together we can overcome': Nadine Lustre has inspiring words amid COVID-19 outbreak

<p>MANILA – Nadine Lustre was one with her fellow Kapamilya stars on Sunday as they all called on Filipinos to lend a helping hand to the less fortunate affected by the COVID-19 crisis.</p><p>Through a pre-recorded video which aired during the “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig: At Home Together Concert,” Lustre said our current situation is not just a test of the Filipinos’ resiliency.</p><p>“It’s an affirmation that in the midst of every imaginable trial, matibay po talaga tayong mga Pilipino. We have gone through so much as one country and we will rise again because we help one another, we care about each other and we share our resources to our kababayans,” she said.</p><p>As Filipinos, Lustre said: “Parati pong bukas ang mga palad at puso natin para sa isa’t isa.”</p><p>She then appealed for donations through ABS-CBN’s campaign to provide food and basic necessities to Filipinos who are unable to make a living during this difficult time.</p><p>“Malayo po ang mararating ng tulong ninyo sa Pantawid ng Pag-ibig fund drive para po sa mga kababayan natin na nangangailangan.
