'The Good Son': Racquel's death breaks Joseph, netizens' hearts

<p>Netizens felt the agony of losing a loved one Friday night as they sympathized with &quot;The Good Son&quot; characters Joseph (Joshua Garcia) and Obet (McCoy de Leon) on the demise of their mother Racquel (Mylene Dizon).</p><p>On Friday&#x27;s night&#x27;s episode, Racquel was on the brink of falling from a tall building after being pushed by Dado (Jeric Raval) when she attempted to stop the latter from hurting Enzo (Jerome Ponce). </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eFTRUZgAVJQ?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="~//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="~//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>Racquel managed to cling on to the ledge of the building to where Joseph rushed in an attempt to save his mother. He asked for Enzo&#x27;s help but to no avail. </p><p>Racquel was then ready to let go but her son reminded her not to give up. </p><p>&quot;Kapit lang, Ma. Kaya niyo &#x27;yan,&quot; Joseph said in tears. &quot;Hawak kita. Kaya niyo &#x27;yan. Kaya natin ito. Hindi kita bibitawan.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Anak, nahihirapan na ko. Nahihirapan ka na. Tama na,&quot; Racquel responded. </p><p>Aware that her son was already tired holding on to her, Racquel let go and fell to her death. </p><p>Joseph blamed himself for his mother&#x27;s death and tried to kill himself, pointing a gun to his head.
