It convinced her to finally come home, months after migrating to the US in search of greener pastures.</p><p>&quot;Uuwi na ako sa Pilipinas,&quot; she told her stepmother Carmy (Aiko Melendez). &quot;Dalawa tayong maglilibing kay Darwin. Tayo lang naman ang magdadamayan hindi ba, nay?&quot;</p><p>Tin had an inseparable bond with her brother Darwin, whom she promised to take to Disneyland when she made enough money. Her heart broke when she was forced to leave him back in the Philippines.</p><p>In the series, Darwin was portrayed by Bryan Angelo Andres, who has Down syndrome. She is the younger brother of teen actress Sofia Andres. His portrayal earned praise from <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/video/entertainment/v3/03/03/16/netizens-humanga-kay-bryan-angelo-sa-the-story-of-us" target="_blank"><strong>netizens</strong></a> during the early weeks of the series. </p><p>Meanwhile, Tin and Macoy&#x27;s relationship continue to tread a rocky path. In their case, distance did not make the heart grow fonder but jealous and distrusting. Tin continues to question Macoy&#x27;s friendship with his co-worker Antoinette.</p><p>&quot;Kung ikaw ang nandito sa position ko, hindi mo rin alam kung ano ang paniniwalaan mo,&quot; Tin told Macoy.</p><p>The episode concluded with Tin&#x27;s biological mother Myra, played by actress Zsa Zsa Padilla, trying to convince her daughter to be more practical and save the money she would otherwise use for a plane ticket home.</p><p>Directed by Richard Somes, &quot;The Story of Us&quot; airs weeknights after &quot;Dolce Amore.&quot;</p>
