Hyun Bin's 'Confidential Assignment' kicks off Cinema One’s Blockbuster Sundays this April

MANILA – Amid the Luzon-wide lockdown, Cinema One is offering its viewers four films this April with diverse themes, but all of which promote values that must be emulated.First in line is “Confidential Assignment,” an action-thriller starring “Crash Landing on You” actor Hyun Bin.<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/news/04/05/20200405-cinemaone.jpg?ext=.jpg"/></figure></div>It also explores the North and South Korean dispute, with a North Korean investigator (Hyun Bin) working with a South Korean counterpart (Yu Hae Jin) to put down his corrupt superior who fled to the latter’s country.The film which puts premium on unity in time of crisis airs on Cinema One on April 5.Next Sunday, the cable channel will screen “Ang Henerasyong Sumuko sa Love,” which features a group of millennials who make a pact to meet at the same spot every year after their graduation. Starring Jane Oineza, Jerome Ponce, Albie Casiño, Myrtle Sarrosa and Tony Labrusca, the movie illustrates the struggles of adulting in today’s world.On April 19, Cinema One will show “I’m Ellenya L” with Maris Racal playing the titular role. It is about a millennial consumed by her dream of being a social media influencer.Its main theme is to let the youth know that there are more pressing concerns than the number of likes, comments, and shares on their posts, and that authenticity will never run out of style.Last but not the least, Cinema One will air on April 26 the animated musical dramedy “Paglisan,” which tells the story of Dolores (Eula Valdes) and Crisanto (Ian Veneracion), a middle-aged couple trying to save their marriage while facing the threats of depression and Alzheimer’s disease respectively.The four movies comprise the April line up of Cinema One’s Blockbuster Sundays.
