WATCH: New ‘Lion King’ trailer gives first look at Scar, Timon and Pumbaa

<p>The first <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/11/23/18/watch-first-teaser-trailer-for-the-lion-king-remake">teaser trailer</a>, which mirrored the opening sequence of the original, told us that this upcoming remake of &quot;The Lion King&quot; is going be to quite faithful. The second trailer hammered home that point.</p><p>The new look, released Wednesday, provided glimpses of several familiar scenes given new life via some breathtaking CGI. </p><p>It also gave fans an example of just how this photorealistic animals will look like while taking, notable examples being Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Scar, and Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen&#x27;s Timon and Pumbaa. </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7TavVZMewpY?enablejsapi=1"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>The Jon Favreau film is set to debut in theaters July 19. </p>
