Diana Zubiri thankful after son's third operation for cleft palate

Diana Zubiri is grateful and relieved after the successful operation of her 9-year-old son, King, to fix his cleft palate.

"Seeing you feel better after the operation makes me feel so thankful," Zubiri wrote in the caption of an Instagram post Monday, showing her with King.

"God showered his mercy upon you once again. It was the best gift. Happy birthday indeed! Sa mga doctor at mga nurses, maraming salamat po. Higit sa lahat, salamat talaga sa prayers. God is good," she added.

The operation, King's third, happened last Sunday, according to PEP.

King's first two operations, to address his cleft lip and the development of his teeth and facial bones, took place when he was three months old and six months old, respectively, the report read.

This latest operation is for bone grafting, for the proper growth of King's permanent teeth.
