MANILA -- For P2 million, Binggoy (Kean Cipriano) agreed to kidnap Serena (Liza Soberano) and make it appear that Tenten (Enrique Gil) conspired with him all along.

He needed the amount to pay for his father's operation and hospital bills.

With no one else to run to, he made a deal with Serena's mother Luciana (Cherrie Gil) who was willing to do whatever it takes for her daughter to return to Italy.

Luciana took advantage of Binggoy's desperation, and made it seem like she was doing it out of pity. Their plans, however, did not turn out as expected.

Instead of helping his brother, Tenten decided to rescue Serena and bring her back home to her family. But they encountered a road accident along the way, leaving Tenten injured and Serena unconscious.

Serena's parents were alerted as soon as the police identified her.

Tenten, who was also brought to the hospital, immediately left before Luciana saw him. Fear and guilt took control of him. He had no idea that he and Serena are actually the victims of a conspiracy.
