MANILA -- Chris Hemsworth took to social media to thank everyone for the massive support for his most recent film “Extraction,” which is now streaming on Netflix.

“You’ve made it the number one film on the planet right now. Looks like it’s gonna be Netflix’s biggest feature film of all time which is absolutely mind-blowing. We are blown away by the response,” he said.

The “Thor” actor also addressed the possibility of creating another movie following the success of the Netflix original.

“There’s been a lot of talk about or questions about sequels and prequels and all sorts of things and all I can say is who knows?” he said.

“But with this kind of support, it’s something I’d be pretty stoked to jump back into,” Hemsworth added.

In the official synopsis provided by Netflix, “Extraction” is about a hardened mercenary’s mission that turns into a soul-searching race to survive when he’s sent to Bangladesh to rescue a drug lord’s kidnapped son.

It also stars Rudhraksh Jaiswal and Randeep Hooda.

The movie is currently the Top 4 content in Netflix Philippines.
