'Voice Kids' alumna Edray collaborates with Dasu

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/life/05/07/edray-dasu-050718.jpg?ext=.jpg"/></figure></div><p>MANILA – East meets west as former &quot;The Voice Kids&quot; contestant Edray Teodoro collaborates with international artist Dasu for the new dance-pop summer track “Okay.”</p><p>Written by Dasu, the single is featured on eight Spotify New Music Friday playlists including: Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam,</p><p>The lyrics, Teodoro said, inspired her since it talks about a person afraid to love but the other person is ready to show how to love without fear. </p><p>Dasu and Teodoro&#x27;s collaboration was made possible by MCA Music Inc. and Universal Music India.</p><div align="center"><iframe allowtransparency="true" frameBorder="0" height="380" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/33UUPTca99WwI7NhUhF1sO" width="300"></iframe></div><p>“I’m so excited about the collaboration, Edray came through with some amazing vocals and really made the track. For someone so young she has a lot of maturity in her voice, she handled the powerful lyrics really well. The duet sounds so well put together. From start to finish the song gets more and more interesting. I’m really proud of the end result,” Dasu shared.</p><p>Teodoro on the other said that she “cannot believe that I will have a collaboration with Dasu, I thank MCA Music for the opportunity they have given me.”</p><p>Teodoro first gained attention from her stint on the first season of &quot;The Voice Kids,&quot; where she became a semi-finalist under Team Bamboo. </p><p>American singer, songwriter and model of Indian descent, Dasu was born in the United States and raised in the city of Hong Kong. Discovered by Rishi Rich – the producer behind Jay Sean -- Dasu was signed under Universal Music India. </p>
