WATCH: IV of Spades performs 'Mundo' without Unique

“Salamat, Unique.”

So ran the tail end of Zild Benitez's acceptance speech after receiving the first of two awards his band, IV of Spades, took home from last night's MYX Music Awards 2018.

It was a bittersweet moment for the teen rock stars, who were clearly on the rise before Unique Salonga's sudden exit. But they had to quickly shed off any shred of sentimentality, as they had to perform their hit, "Mundo," in front of an exuberant crowd.

There was a buzz of excitement the moment their silhouettes were glimpsed preparing their instruments as the hosts chattered away before introducing them.
