There's speculation that Anne Curtis' character, the mysterious Aya, is just a figment of the imagination of Sid, an insomniac portrayed by Dingdong Dantes. Another popular theory is that she's an alien.

All three were careful not to reveal the plot, only talking in bits about Aya having a connection with Japan, that she's indeed a real person --a "crazy, all-out kind"-- and that Sid is "flawed."

Villamor hinted that some of the movie's scenes are based from her real experiences. "Lahat naman ng isusulat ko, dapat may panggalingan. So I think nandiyan lang siya."
