<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/entertainment/05/31/julieto.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Julieto &quot;Chikita&quot; Villaruel, 42, died of hypovolemic shock Tuesday night in Cebu City.<cite> Photo courtesy of Wenwen Zaspa.</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>CEBU CITY—A Cebuano comedian died here Tuesday night due to hypovolemic shock caused by severe blood and fluid loss. </p><p>Julieto Villaruel, 42, died at around 11 p.m. </p><p>Villaruel was a transgender woman known in the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) community as “Chikita.”</p><p>Chikita&#x27;s funny videos went viral and gained thousands of viewers in social media.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5h2eie7d_zc" width="560"></iframe></figure><p>Cebu’s LGBTQ community is mourning Chikita&#x27;s death. </p><p>It is also raising funds to pay for the wake and burial expenses, since Chikita’s parents already passed away.</p><p>Chikita was born in Zamboanga City, Mindanao. Her family moved to Cebu to find “a greener pasture.”</p><p>She will be laid to rest in Sta. Cruz Chapel, Brgy. Calamba, Cebu City.</p>
