'I want to go out and scream and fight': Frankie Pangilinan told by senator-father to protest online, for now

Francis &quot;Kiko&quot; Pangilinan, has been an outspoken critic of the Duterte government on social media.</p><p>On Thursday, she sought to bring her protest to the streets, amid the controversy surrounding the administration-backed anti-terror bill. She, however, appeared to be disallowed by her father, going by a text exchange she shared on Twitter.</p><p>&quot;I want to go out and scream and fight,&quot; she messaged her father in succession, captioning the screenshot of the text, &quot;Sir pls let me out.&quot;</p><p>Tagging the Twitter account of Sen. Pangilinan, Frankie tweeted, in jest, &quot;I&#x27;ll bring a water of alcohol pls... Pangilinan replied in their text message.</p><p>&quot;It&#x27;s all [pretty] much meaningless until I go out and do something we both know that,&quot; Frankie said, followed by a humorous, &quot;Don&#x27;t make me sapak.&quot;</p><p>In recent months, Frankie has used her growing social media to shed light on causes for vulnerable sectors, especially amid the coronavirus crisis.</p><p>She has minced no words in criticizing the Duterte administration, most recently over the anti-terror bill that has sparked the #JunkTerrorBill movement online and and in the streets.</p>
