Cain felt that the more than two-hour film, which was directed by Zack Snyder (“300,” “Watchmen”), dragged for “too long,” and criticised the Warner Bros-produced feature for its supposed lack of romance and humor. “The film itself didn’t hold my attention,” he shared. “It was very long, too long.”

“Any story comes down to the characters. If you care about the characters, then you care about the story —the truth of the matter is, I enjoyed ‘Deadpool’ a lot more than I liked ‘Batman v Superman.’ Ryan Reynolds killed that role. “She’s phenomenal. I think she is such a talented actress. I don’t think she’s a natural athlete —I’m a natural athlete so it was really fun for me to able to act out the fight scenes. I think it’s more work for her, but the acting stuff, I think she is a far better actor than I was,” Cain said of Benoist.
