WATCH: Mariel Rodriguez returns to 'Showtime'

MANILA – Two years after she took a long break from showbiz when she became pregnant with her first child, a fit and blooming Mariel Rodriguez returned to "It's Showtime" on Monday.

She was welcomed by the show's hosts Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Jugs Jugueta, Amy Perez, Karylle, Teddy Corpuz, Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda.

"Grabe sobra ko kayong na-miss. Nakakaiyak pero pinipigilan ko. Miss ko kayo, grabe all of you," Rodriguez said.

"Na-miss ko talaga kayo, lahat kayong nandito, sa mga nasa tahanan nila. Na-miss ko kayong lahat it feels good to be back. It feels good to have a home to come back to," she added.

Rodriguez took a leave from hosting "It's Showtime" on June 2016 while she was pregnant with daughter Isabella.

Rodriguez gave birth to her daughter on November 14, 2016 in the US.

"It has been the best experience of my life. Really ang sarap. Ngayon, sabi ko nga, iba kapag nakakakita ako ng moms ngayon," Rodriguez told her "It's Showtime" co-hosts.

Rodriguez also received welcome video messages from her husband Robin Padilla and good friend Toni Gonzaga.

"Thank you, Toni for the message. To my husband, maraming maraming salamat and Happy Father's Day. Sabi ko nga 'di ko magagawa ang ginagawa ko kung hindi niya ako sinusuportahan," Rodriguez said.
