"The Achy Breaky Hearts" actress Jodi Sta. Maria on Sunday revealed that one of his leading men, Ian Veneracion, played the role of the father of one of her friends in their first movie together.

Sta. Maria and Veneracion, along with Richard Yap, were guests on the late night show, "Gandang Gabi Vice," on ABS-CBN.

When asked how many times they have worked together, Sta. Maria said Veneracion played her former on-screen partner Patrick Garcia's father.

"Yung pinakauna, 'Darating ang Umaga'. Tatay siya ni Patrick Garcia. Love team ko si Patrick Garcia," Sta. Maria said.

"Yun 'yung unang-unang nagkita kami para sa Pangako Sa'yo, 'yun 'yung sinabi niya sa akin. Sabi niya, 'Dati parang anak-anak mo lang ako, ngayon love team na tayo.'," Veneracion said.
