ABS-CBN News</figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA — In his eight-year career, South Korean actor Park Bo Gum has played a diverse range of roles on television.</p><p>One would wonder which among Park&#x27;s roles was his favorite, given the colorful personas under his belt.</p><p>&quot;All of those characters live in my memory because all of those characters in [those] dramas [are] so, so precious to me,&quot; Park, 26, said Friday in a press conference in Pasay City.</p><p>&quot;Every character I&#x27;ve played has something in common with me,&quot; he added.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><div id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1_Container"> <ivs-player id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1" data-ivs-spid="3001339" data-ivs-key="e8c22c015ca9eafa76f1e3edfa03c603" data-ivs-vid="1384980" data-ivs-floating="1"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/iframe-parent.js"></script> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js"></script> </div></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>He was a psychopath lawyer in &quot;Hello Monster&quot; (2015), a soft-spoken genius in &quot;Reply 1988&quot; (2015), a crown prince in &quot;Love in the Moonlight&quot; (2016), and a free-spirited lover to a divorcee in &quot;Encounter&quot; (2018).</p><p>While he was already known among K-drama fans, Park&#x27;s popularity in the Philippines got a boost thanks to &quot;Love in the Moonlight,&quot; which aired on ABS-CBN.</p><p>Park attributed the success of &quot;Love in the Moonlight,&quot; as well as his other dramas, to the characters he played.</p><p>He also believes his dramas were well-received for showing &quot;the beautiful landscapes of Korea.&quot;</p><div><strong>ASIAN TOUR AN &#x27;UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE&#x27;</strong></div><p>Park is in the country to meet Filipino fans at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, the final stop of his 2019 Asian tour.</p><p>The fan meet was supposed to take place last April 27, but was <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/04/24/19/park-bo-gum-fan-meeting-in-ph-postponed-due-to-earthquakes">postponed</a> after a magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Luzon on April 22.</p><p>Park described his tour — which made stops in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Taiwan — as &quot;an unforgettable experience.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I really appreciate the fans,&quot; he said. &quot;Regardless of what language they speak and where they live, they are... sparing their really precious time for me.&quot;</p><p>Asked what Filipino fans can expect from his Manila event, Park said: &quot;It&#x27;s gonna be a real good day that we can all enjoy.&quot;</p><p>This is Park&#x27;s first time to meet his Filipino fans despite having visited the country twice before.</p><p>His first visit was when he acted in the 2013 series &quot;Wonderful Mama&quot; while his second visit was a celebratory vacation following the successful run of &quot;Love in the Moonlight.&quot;</p>
