It was in August 2017 when Jeremy Glinoga first acknowledged that he had a crush on Isabela Vinzon.

And in an interview on Tuesday's "Tonight With Boy Abunda," Vinzon said she felt "awkward" after hearing that from her fellow "The Voice Teens" finalist.

She confessed to feeling a little uncomfortable talking about it with Glinoga, saying that she was caught off guard.

"Parang nabigla kasi hindi ako handa noon," she explained, adding that they both had to adjust how they acted towards one another following Glinoga's surprise confession.

She also said that they read posts from fans wanting them to become a couple, but clarified that they're just close friends: "We started as friends and until now magkaibigan kami."

She did sprinkle a bit of "kilig" during her interview, picking Glinoga as her partner of choice for her "dream" date.

Vinzon was on the late-night talk show to promote her collaboration with Malaysian singer Alvin Chong, "We Got This."
