MANILA - Rhian Ramos has finally agreed to pose for FHM Philippines.

The actress appears on the cover of the men's magazine's July issue. Ramos admitted that she never saw herself as one to grace the pages of FHM, but shared that she decided to do so after attending Solenn Heussaff's wedding in France last month.

Without going into details, she told her followers on Instagram: "Who knew it just took a rebrand, a wedding in France, a train strike, running in London, a mysterious forest, a bottle of wine, tons of fur, and five amazing people (Heussaff included) to make it happen."

According to an article posted on the website of FHM Philippines, the magazine's editorial team decided to pursue Ramos to be on their cover after she posted a photo of herself wearing a rather revealing bikini more than three months ago.

Ramos explained that she wanted the photo to serve as a "message" for those "making fun of her flat butt."

"For the longest time almost everybody was telling me: 'Do some squats, go exercise!' I hadn’t done a single squat in a year—that was what drove me to post that photo where my butt was hanging out. I was like, 'Take that!'" she told FHM Philippines.

Ramos' plan, she said, didn't exactly play out the way she intended as her photo drew even more criticism.

"I had a kind of epiphany after those reactions: 'You know what? It really doesn't matter what anyone’s opinion of your body is. It's really up to you what you want to look like and whatever that is, it's okay," she said.
