MANILA -- Coach Bamboo had his artists, Gab Cayabyab and Omar Arsua, perform Ed Sheeran's "Happier" for the first battle of his team for this weekend's batch of "The Voice Teens 2" episodes.

It was admittedly a complicated song to sing, which was why Bamboo had, prior to them taking the stage, asked a few questions to help them understand the emotions the song demanded.

Cayabyab, whom Bamboo picked to move on to the next round, opened up about the time he was bullied in school, and how he wants
his performance on TV to inspire kids who have similar experiences.

Bamboo noted that both Cayabyab and Arsua stepped up and made the decision difficult, but he ultimately went with the former, saying that he told a story that was more genuine and believable.
