MANILA -- Actor and Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano thanked his "Dolce Amore" family for an "amazing ride" after his character was killed off in the show's Tuesday episode.

Cipriano, 29, plays Binggoy, the brother of lead character Tenten (Enrique Gil) in "Dolce Amore."

Thousands of fans mourned the character's death on social media, making Binggoy trend in both Facebook and Twitter.

Following Binggoy's death, Cipriano shared a series of photos on his Instagram account.

"My #DolceAmore ride has been amazing! My love and respect to all the people I've worked with for the past couple of months. From the production to our Directors to the actors... You guys are a BLESSING! I will miss the set! I will miss my new found friends! #Binggoy," he wrote in the caption of one of the photos.

Cipriano and his wife Chynna Ortaleza are currently expecting a baby girl.

"Dolce Amore" airs weeknights after "Ang Probinsyano."
