She was accused of having an affair with an unnamed government official, a result of a blind item that floated in May.

And Ara Mina remained adamant saying there is no truth in those claims, arguing that she does not owe anyone explanations.

"Ang choice ko ay manahimik kasi wala akong dapat i-explain," she told "Tonight With Boy Abunda" Friday.

Asked directly: "May inagaw ka ba?" She replied, "Wala."

It was back in May when a blind item alleged that an actress, apparently Mina, was having an affair.

The story goes that the actress was to sing a duet with the partner of the said government official.

But since this partner did not know the lyrics of the song, the actress lent her her phone to look them up. It was exactly at that moment that the official texted the actress, exposing their affair.

Mina was on the late-night talk show to promote her role in the ongoing afternoon series, "Precious Hearts Romances: Araw Gabi."
