Big Bang's T.O.P thanks fans as he finishes military service

<p>T.O.P of Korean boy group Big Bang went straight to meet his fans after he got discharged from his mandatory military service Saturday.</p><p>In a post on his Instagram account Sunday, T.O.P posted photos of him meeting his fans as he thanked them for their continuous support.</p><p>&quot;Even though I am not proud of myself, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the fans who made started his military service in February 2017 as a police officer.</p><p>However, he was removed from the police force four months later after his drug conviction.</p><ul use</a></li></ul><p>Choi continued his mandatory service as a public service worker at Yongsan in January 2018.</p><p>He is the first member of Big Bang to finish his military service.</p><p>The three remaining members of the group are also expected to finish their military service within the year.</p><p>G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong) enlisted in February 2018, followed by Taeyang (Dong Young-bae) and Daesung (Kang Dae-sung) in March of the same year.</p><p>The news of Choi&#x27;s release from his military service comes after a series of scandals that rocked the group and its agency, YG Entertainment.</p><p>In February, former member Seungri (Lee Seung-hyun) got embroiled in a series of controversies, prompting him to announce his departure from the group and his retirement from the
