She has released more than 11 studio albums throughout her 25-year career.</p><p>Jaya is the first Filipino recording artist to chart in the US Billboard Hot 100. Her debut single &quot;If You Leave Me Now&quot; peaked at 44 in 1989. She has been associated with a rival network for the past 16 years.</p>

Singer Jaya is beginning a new chapter in her life as one of the judges of the rebooted 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' on 'It's Showtime.'
