'The Voice Teens': Emarjhun stuns, leads Team Bamboo's charge

<p>The remaining members of the team of Bamboo Mañalac performed live for the first time on Sunday&#x27;s &quot;The Voice Teens,&quot; all fighting for a spot in next week&#x27;s quarterfinals. </p><p>The ex-Rivermaya vocalist prepped his young artists ready for the high stakes part of the competition -- and they did not disappoint. </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HDPk4ql3oEw" width="560"></iframe></figure><p>Queenie Ugdiman, a 14-year-old from Iloilo, was up first. She chose to sing Asin&#x27;s &quot;Itanong Mo Sa Mga Bata,&quot; which showcased her ability to &quot;tell a story&quot; in addition to nailing the vocals. </p><p>Isabela Vinzon, the daughter of actor Roi Vinzon, stepped up next with her rendition of &quot;What A Girl Wants.&quot; </p><p>Vinzon proved yet again the she&#x27;s more than just her surname, looking confident as she belted out the Cristina Aguilera hit. Mañalac said the song demanded a certain feistiness -- and Vinzon delivered. </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FwVJkhW1aC0" width="560"></iframe></figure><p>But the best of the night came last, when Emarjhun De Guzman took to the stage his cover of James Brown&#x27;s &quot;It&#x27;s A Man&#x27;s Man&#x27;s Man&#x27;s World&quot; and proceeded to electrify the crowd. </p><p>The Bulacan native received a standing ovation from all the coaches, with Mañalac claiming that his performance will be remembered for a long time. &quot;That&#x27;s how you make a mark,&quot; he said. </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vbW-2-F3jLw" width="560"></iframe></figure><p>De Guzman received more than half of the viewers&#x27; votes, and was the first young artist announced who will be representing the team of Mañalac in the next round. </p><p>Vinzon was also picked by Mañalac, which meant that Ugdiman was eliminated. </p>
